I had to return a tool recently, and overall the process was alright. I’ve returned items from other places before where the refund came through a bit quicker, so this felt like it took longer than expected. Sent my drill in on Monday and somehow had it back before the weekend, which I wasn’t really expecting. No chasing anyone, no annoying back-and-forth, just fixed and sent back. I mean, I was ready to be irritated if it dragged on, but it didn’t, so yeah, really happy with how it went.

"Good tools, but my experience has been a bit mixed"
I’ve used Hilti tools on and off for a while, and in the past they’ve usually felt really solid and performed well. That said, I’ve run into a few reliability issues over time. One of my tools needed service sooner than I expected, which was frustrating considering the price. Their website also isn’t the easiest to deal with, and the support I got was fine, but nothing special. Overall, I wouldn’t say it’s bad, just a bit of a mixed experience for what you’re paying.

I’ve actually had a decent experience with the tools themselves, but the billing side was frustrating. I paid my invoice and then still ended up getting hit with late fees, which was confusing. I reached out to support thinking it would be a quick fix, but it took longer than expected to get sorted out. It’s not the worst service I’ve used, and the product does what I need, but they definitely need to clean up the invoicing and billing process.

"Checkout was a mess, but the parts showed up fine"
The whole ordering process was kind of frustrating. The website kept glitching right when I was trying to check out, which is never fun, and then the order confirmation didn’t come through until later so I wasn’t even sure if it went through at first. Also, support took forever to get back to me, which didn’t help. That said, the parts did arrive okay in the end, so at least that part worked out.

I’ve put this drill through plenty of rough use on site, and it’s held up surprisingly well. It feels solid and can definitely take a beating. The only thing I’d say is the battery could last a bit longer, especially on bigger jobs. Still, I’d casually recommend it if you need something reliable for regular work.

"Warranty support got it fixed, but communication could’ve been better"
From what I remember, my Hilti drill stopped working earlier than I expected, so I had to go through their warranty support. The people I spoke with were polite and they did answer when I reached out, but it took a few calls and emails before I felt like I actually understood what was happening. In the end, they did fix the problem, so I’ll give them credit for that. I just remember feeling like the updates could’ve been quicker and clearer. Overall, it wasn’t a terrible experience, but it wasn’t exactly smooth either.

I’ve always liked Hilti tools, but ordering from the website has been frustrating lately. A couple items showed as available, and then after I placed the order, suddenly there was a delay. I had to call around trying to figure out what was actually going on, and nobody really seemed to have a straight answer. It kind of feels like the stock info isn’t being kept as updated as it should be, which isn’t ideal when you need parts quickly

I rented a tool from Hilti the tool itself worked fine. No complaints about the tool. But the pickup took way too long, like way longer than it should have, and then the return process was confusing for no reason. I brought it back on time, but still got charged for an extra day, which was really frustrating. Then support took forever to sort it out, so the whole thing just dragged on and on. Again, the tool was fine, but the pickup was slow, the return was confusing, and the extra charge was annoying.

"Battery Compatibility Is a Mess"
I bought into HILTI thinking my batteries would work across more of their tools, but nope, silly me. The whole compatibility setup is confusing as heck, and I ended up needing different batteries and chargers than I expected. For what this stuff costs, that’s ridiculous. Support didn’t really clear things up either, just left me feeling like I was dealing with a bunch of goofballs. Definitely not adding more tools anytime soon

I’ve been using HILTI fleet management for a while now, i’m not sure I’d do it again. The billing has been confusing, and getting straight answers seems to take longer than it should. Tool swaps and returns are supposed to be simple, but in my experience they haven’t really felt that way. Support has been polite enough, but I’m left feeling like the actual issues don’t really get resolved. For what it costs, I guess I expected things to be a lot smoother. I probably won’t be signing up again

"Pricey, but honestly worth it"
I’ve ordered from hilti a few times now, and my snap judgment is: not cheap, but you can tell the tools are built to last. They feel solid and definitely save me hassle on site. Delivery has been fine, and the website is straightforward to use. I still think a few items could be priced a bit better, but if you’re using this stuff regularly, the value is there.

They sent me the wrong bits, so I ended up having to reorder the right ones myself. What annoyed me even more was the canned apology—it felt like a generic copy-and-paste message instead of anyone actually trying to sort it out properly.
